Black Saturday Roundup

We voluntarily missed Black Friday since we’re only yellow belts in Store Mob Fight Jutsu, but most of the Big Boxes are doing the two-day sale thing for wusses like us, so you still have a chance to go check and see if these deals are still available:

Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000, $36.05

Woooo. Yeah. Wooooo. Woooo. Come on. Give it up. Come on. Woooo. Come on. Give it up for me. Woooo. Woooo. Come on.

Who said sit down? I’ve got four words for you: Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000, $36.05. That’s $13.94 off the list price, and you get a 640×480, 30 fps, USB webcam with a built-in microphone. And it’s from Microsoft! That’s good, right?

Pardon me while I put on some antiperspirant.

Cheap 1GB SD and MiniSD Cards

How low can you go for SD and MiniSD cards, you ask? How about $15.75 for a Transcend 1GB SD Card, and $17.01 for a Kingston miniSD? That’s pretty low.

Bluetooth Headset for $24.99

FREEDOM KEYBOARD Bluetooth Headset BT-APLUS, just $24.99 from J&R via Amazon. Not sure why “keyboard” is in the title, but hey, it’s a tiny bluetooth headset for as cheap as I’ve seen these go for. Now you too can wander the streets, appearing to talk to yourself like a crazy bum — and bums’ll be able to afford these headsets too, so it’ll be harder than ever to tell the difference!

Video Review: Philips SPC200N

This review was recorded with the webcam itself, of course. Sorry, it was something like two in the morning and I was not in the best shape. Buy the Philips Webcam being reviewed here.

Things I Like About It:
- cheap
- easy to install
- takes video and photos reasonably well
- stable camera stand
- free microphone

Things I Don’t Like:
- washed out in daylight
- no clamp, might not stand on top of flat screen LCD
- keeps failing when using a USB extender

We Heart Shilling: Go Cordless with Logitech!

Logitech G7 Laser Cordless MouseNothing messes up a neat freak’s home office like a Tyra Banks hairweave-sized mess of cables (what can I say, it’s Top Model season). That said, why not make the transition to cordless? Imagine leaning back in your chair, feet on the table, easily and comfortably surfing for porn independent music on Bittorrent. It’s like eating chocolate-covered cherries dipped in unicorn tears! Joy!

We’ve come across a few items from Logitech that may just usher your office space into a new age of cordlessness. Okay, we’ll shut up now and let you warm your credit cards up.

TrekStor 1GB MP3 Player for $19,999.00

TrekStor i.Beat organix Gold MP3 Player (1 GB)No, that’s not a typo. TrekStor is selling a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted 1GB MP3 player for a cool twenty grand. And why, pray tell, is Cheap and Tiny posting this obviously ill-fitting product on our pages? Because we’re attention whores, that’s why!

But seriously, if I was rich enough to blow $20,000 on a status symbol, I’d rather just spend it towards adopting a cute little [fill in trendy ethnicity] baby. At least I know the kid will never go obsolete.

MP3 Player Sale Bonanza: 5GB iRiver H10 for $119.99

Remanufactured iRiver 5 GB H10 MP3 Player, Lounge GreyWith the new iPod Nano starting at $150 for a somewhat smallish 2GB of storage, sometimes it just seems right to think that maybe putting more money into the big corporate machine that is Apple (yes folks; they’re not the hip startup-esque company they make themselves out to be) isn’t always the best way to go about things. Despite being called out for designing hackneyed UI for their music players, iRiver has always been considered the smart buyer’s alternative to making your music mobile.

But who are we to tell you what’s what? Just take a peek at this deal yourself. A refurbed 5GB iRiver H10 player for $120? Sure, it’s not nearly as sexy or as fashion forward as the iPod Nano, but you’re not the type to be swayed by the narcissistic siren call of public opinion and image-driven self-worth, right? We thought not. See how much cooler and non-corporate-ey you are already? But seriously, buy these from us so we can make more money.

RCA MP3 Player Blowout!

RCA Lyra RD2317FM 1 GB Digital Audio Player with FM TransmitterIn the MP3 player race, everyone knows that the Apple iPod and the Creative Zen are on top of the heap (although Apple’s lead can be considered, shall we say, unassailable). That doesn’t mean you have to default to one or the other, however. All those other cheap and yet oh-so-lovable bottomfeeders in the MP3 player market like Sandisk and RCA are stilll worth a shot. Plus, it wouldn’t hurt to have a little bit of variety in the electronic market.

That said, RCA is having a blowout sale of massive proportions. Okay, maybe it’s more portly than massive, but they still got quite a few deals you may want to throw your money at.

RCA RD2780 20GB Lyra Personal Digital Multi-Media Player for $289.88
