About

Cheap And Tiny is a weblog about small and affordable consumer electronics. We scour the internet to provide you with news, reviews, and deals specific to the world of personal gadgets which push the lower boundaries of size and cost. Cellphones, computers, cameras, music players, media storage, and more: the tinier the device and the less you pay for it, the better. Additional technological oddities are a great bonus: anachronistic icing on the cake.

Who runs Cheap and Tiny?
Raffy Espiritu, whose technological savvy and sharp wit will one day be the stuff of legend, writes most of the stuff. Cheap and Tiny is a Jopogo Log, and is administered by Paulo Ordoveza, who occasionally throws in a post.

So what do you consider cheap and what do you consider tiny?
The general rule is “less than a hundred dollars for something that fits in the palm of your hand,” but what we consider tiny will depend on what kind of device we’re talking about. For cameras and music players, for example, we’re thinking in terms of “iPod or smaller,” while desktop PCs deserve a look if they’re along the lines of those cool cubical small-form cases. These rules aren’t set hard and fast, of course; it all depends on the gadget, its genre, and just how amazingly cool it is. Tiny will trump cheap for importance — if it’s tiny enough.
