Sentry SP400 MP3 Folding Speaker SystemI probably don’t have to tell you, but these speakers, the Sentry SP400 MP3 Folding Speaker System, are pretty cheap. A friend of mine had a birthday recently and he asked for iPod speakers, so I helped him get a set. Damn things set me back 80 smackers. I had pretty good sound and was somewhat nicely designed, but jeez if I didn’t think about the money I just spent for a gadget that was essentially going to spend the rest of its existence rusting in a bathroom.

I’m sorry; I shouldn’t be complaining about buying someone a gift. Gift-giving should be a wonderful experience filled with joy and gladness that you were able to appreciate someone else who means so much more to you than the gift you’re giving. The act; the mere act of giving a present to someone should be made with neither a thought for oneself or of the concept of receiving likewise. The reward, which is most certainly better than money itself, is that nice warm feeling that starts deep in your belly and swells until it reaches your heart.

Wait, is it Christmas yet? Oh, it’s not. Yeaaah, I want my money back and get these instead.
