Considering how prolific thumb drives have gotten this past year, we’d be inclined to disregard the statement we all made three years ago in which we foolishly exclaimed, “Of course you’ll have to spend $75 for a 64MB thumb drive! What, you think these things grow on trees?!” But boy, after we saw these new branch and twig-shaped thumb drives from Dutch company OOOMS, we felt pretty darned stupid. I mean, whodathunkit? $87 for 128MB sort of dulls the joy a tad though.

Either way, we like imitation wood as much as one of those hippie posers at the Haight, so this is just, oh wow, it’s just so friggin’ earthy it makes me want to, I don’t know, torch a Hummer dealership or something.
