New Shuffles On The Way?
AppleInsider reports that Apple may release a new version of the pack-of-gum-sized iPod Shuffle by January of next year, assuming their Wall Street analyst contact isn’t spouting any peyote-aggravated fibs. According to the article, the new Shuffle could be even smaller than the current edition, and may come in a range of colors. Could Apple be considering breaking away from their current lineup’s monochromatic color scheme? Zounds!
If the brain surgeons here at Cheap and Tiny had our way, we’d call the new iPod the iPill. Less than a quarter of the size of the regular Shuffle, it would come with nanites and wireless electrodes and receivers, and you’d have to swallow it to use it. Uploading tunes would be easy over a wireless connection, and all you’d have to do to change from one track to the next is to tap your nipples. How’s that for ergonomic?
