Aiwa AZ BS32 Water-Resistant MP3 Player with SpeakerShower singing, in my opinion, is a lost art. Until the advent of karaoke (and the subsequent increase in drunken stabbings from too many rounds of Jägermeister and Copacobana), the only place a dream-inspired, tone-deaf soul could pour his monotone heart out was in the midst of steam and soap scum. Unfortunately, acoustics aren’t always enough these days, and radio rarely ever deviates from their cornball-emo-pop-boob-job playlists to give you the backup vocals you deserve. But thanks to nifty products like the Aiwa AZ BS32 Water-Resistant MP3 Player, your vision of belting out Lynrd Skynrd’s “Free Bird” while completely naked can still come true. The Aiwa AZ BS32 is priced at $32.98 and features a water-resistant shell, a blue backlit LCD screen, and for everyone who still hasn’t gotten into the “digital age”, an FM tuner with 20 presets. While the unit does have its own built-in speaker, a peculiar headphone socket suggests that this player can also be used at the beach or by the pool, although technically you can’t strap this to your arm while doing laps. Think of the tan lines!

The downside to the Aiwa AZ BS32 is its meager 32MB of memory, which will store about 30 minutes worth of music encoded at a reasonable bitrate. But if you really do plan on keeping this thing in the shower, just how long were you thinking of staying in there? It’s not like you do other things in the shower other than clean up, right?
