Boynq This!
It starts with nothing…
But shortly there is something…
A lust for your hearing evolves…
Unbreakable and made by the best…Boynq*
Despite its smirk-prompting name (Does buying one of their gadgets for your PC constitute as “boynq-ing” your computer? Oh, stop that, you naughty thing, you!), Boynq does have some pretty interesting, if slightly overpriced, products on display. Marketed primarily as “lifestyle” devices, these USB-powered gadgets are targeted towards making your computer desk look more like an Ikea showfloor than the soda-and-nacho cheese stained crudfest it actually is.

While I can’t vouch for the quality of these gadgets, some of them are just so darn quirky that I’m willing to put aside the threat of less-than-amazing performance just to see it beautima-fy my work space. Which reminds me: just where did I put that Jessica Alba poster?
Standout goodies like the Boynq Vase USB Speakers ($25), the Boynq D’Light Lamp ($18), and the Boynq Cubite USB Speaker Hub ($50) make the most sense. Tacking a digital clock onto a USB extender (as is the case with the Pixel) and selling it for $15 does not. I imagine knocking 5 to 10 bucks off each item would help make these more appealing, but if you’re sick and tired of looking like you do all your shopping at the Grey and Beige in Geekmenistan, a few misspent dollars wouldn’t hurt.
*Yes, this Shakespearean sonnet actually came from Boynq’s website. I don’t have to make this stuff up half the time.
